Who is Figgy Tree Publishing?
A brief history of our brand

FTP started in 2016 as a way for me to put my personal stamp on classic books that I have always loved and to make available important older books that are harder to find. I started with many of my personal favorites. designing covers and selecting fonts gave me a new insight into these old books. I found that I also enjoyed publishing journals and other things we now call "low content books". Inexpensive Paperback journals are great for carrying around with me and I even sold a few to complete strangers!
Although I have, for the most part, stopped looking for public domain works to republish, I have my eye on a couple that I'd love to put my stamp on. For example, my favorite novel of all time "To The Lighthouse", by Virginia Woolf, is now in the public domain and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to resist doing something with it in this coming year.
None of this is about getting rich, it's about sharing things I love. I am notoriously fickle so these things change over time! My goal for this "shop" is to present things others will love too. Sweet coloring pages, pretty wall art, motivational posters, maybe art with my own haiku on it, writing prompts, meditation scripts. Dont' be surprised if a few vegetarian and other health related topics appear as well.
Really who knows what could pop up from my very busy mind?
I'd be thrilled of others found some joy or value in my offerings. I plan always to have lots of freebies so you'll have good reason to stop by every so often.
